Eigentlich halte ich mich ja von Knitalongs fern und fuer Wollabos / -clubs melde ich mich auch selten an (irgendwie mag ich Ueberraschungen nur, wenn sie farblich in mein Beuteschema passen, was eher selten ist), aber diesmal hab’ ich mich fuer den Westknits Shawl Club angemeldet. Allerdings ist es auch fuer mich nur die Variante mit den Anleitungen ohne Garn. Vermutlich waere es das auch gewesen, wenn der Versand nach Kanada moeglich gewesen waere. Anmeldung ist noch bis zum 10. Dezember moeglich.
Usually I am not joining any knitalongs or any yarn clubs (I kind of figured that I don’t really like surprises if they don’t fit into my colour scheme) but this time I signed up for the Westknit Shawl Club. For me it’s the pattern only club since they don’t send their yarn to anywhere outside the US but that’s ok. I think I would have done the same if they would send to Canada since I don’t really need any new yarn. Sign-up closes on December 10th.

Ooh. He’s got some really nice patterns… and choosing your own yarn is a definite plus in my mind! Yay!
I justify it in the name of stash busting, although I don’t know if hoarding patterns is much better. At least so many are digital now!
